A paradise for walkers of all abilities and stamina (great for the kids), there is easy access to Bredon Hill, 4 miles away and made famous by AE Houseman’s ‘A Shropshire Lad’, and the Wychavon Way, 3 miles.

A beautiful three-story cottage set just opposite the winding River Derwent, in this stunning area of the Peaks known as Little Switzerland. Dramatic limestone cliffs offer stunning views, cradling the River Derwent which takes you into the heart of Matlock itself or through Matlock Bath into historic Cromford. Less than half a mile away, heading into Matlock, you are met with quirky shops, cafes and restaurants. Head the other way and you can scale High Tor or take a gentle stroll on lovers walk, enjoying the amusements and gift shops of Matlock Bath. Venture a mere 7 miles away and you will find Chatsworth and Bakewell.
The cottage itself offers a cosy living room, with colourful accent cushions and throws. Books and games can be found here, and a Smart TV to unwind in the evenings. The flame effect fire makes for a cosy night after exploring Derbyshire. The kitchen is modern and bright, with a dining table offering a great space to gather and share meals together.
