Head out on foot to explore the beauty of the area – the harbour, the marshes and Norfolk’s coastal path are all easily accessible. There is ample opportunity for birdwatching, and it’s highly advised to take a boat trip out to Blakeney Point where you’ll see some of the UK’s most famed seal colonies. For days at the beach head to sandy Wells-next-the-Sea (9 miles) and Holkham (11.5 miles). Back in Blakeney itself, you’ll find great shops, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance.
