The house was renovated in 2023 by an architect and designer couple, giving the house a unique character and attention to detail. The house has a spacious and light-filled ground floor, which is surrounded by gardens, and a quiet upstairs with three bedrooms and a generous family bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances and equipment and a central island. The kitchen transitions into a large ‘sun-room’ with high ceilings and large windows looking out to the garden. A large dining table and sofas provide a comfortable space to dine, socialise, or relax. Adjacent to the sunroom, an additional living room provides a versatile space for all ages. Complete with games table, books, a television, and a comfortable sofa bed, it can be used as a private and quiet fourth bedroom by closing the doors and drawing the blackout curtains. An entry hall with ample space for shoes and coats, and a downstairs WC with washer and dryer make for ease of use during your stay. Three bedrooms and a family bathroom are accessed off a large sunny landing at the top of the stairs. There are two double bedrooms with full height wardrobes and blackout blinds. One double bedroom has a workspace, perfectly catering to remote work demands or creative pursuits. The third bedroom features a sturdy bunk bed, with a ‘small double’ mattress on the lower bunk, making it comfortable for children and adults.
The front garden provides privacy and a lovely space to enjoy the evening light. The large rear garden basks in sunlight all day, with several different areas to enjoy, including a patio with large dining table and gas BBQ, as well as festoon lighting for the evening. A lush lawn, gravel garden with abundant coastal planting and areas to sit, a greenhouse, a summerhouse, and seating area surrounded by planting near the house which catches the sun in the mornings and shade in the afternoon, are all available for your enjoyment. A gate at the rear of the garden provides easy access to and from the footpaths to the beach, and access to an additional parking area. This gate is secure, allowing guests to store bikes in the rear garden with ease. Sunny Beach House is a unique home away from home, which can be enjoyed any time of year.
