Enter the grounds of Fort Redoubt over the bridge which crosses the moat next to where the caponier apartments are situated. The Access to the caponier is via a staircase though an entrance door from the forts central parade square. Head through the tunnel and down the stairs to the first apartment entrance, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner can be found beyond the double doors from the hallway. There is a TV and warming gas stove in the lounge and a fully equipped kitchen complete with electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The dining table has ample seating for the whole group to gather and socialise. All bedrooms can be found along the corridor opposite the lounge, there is a twin bedroom, king-size bedroom and additional king-size with en-suite shower room and WC. The bathroom, complete with bath and shower over and WC can be located at the end of the corridor with an existing archway visible through the modernisation of the apartment.
There is allocated parking for two cars in the central parade square. A table and chairs are provided to sit out and enjoy the shared grounds in the moat and a BBQ is also provided.
