Hire some bikes and explore the wonderful seaside resort of Southwold, 17 miles away, with its beautiful pastel-painted buildings, lighthouse and beach huts, and stop off for fish and chips for lunch. For those wanting to make the most of the farm location, a horse ride or a led pony trek for beginners is something the farm offers by arrangement. Picturesque harbour towns are scattered up and down the wide coastline of Suffolk, with moored boats and the unique local architecture of painted wood frames and flint fronts around every corner. If the weather is not on your side, Snape Maltings is a wonderful cultural centre with galleries, concerts and boutiques, 23 miles south, or grab your bucket and spade when the sun is out and head 23 miles north for the traditional delights of Great Yarmouth with its sandy beach and pier.
