The idyllic approach to this property is down a private driveway and there is a large space outside the front of the barn with plenty of parking. The barn’s interior has a spacious feel with many of the rooms having beamed ceilings and large windows. Kick off your shoes and hang up your coat in the entrance hall and make your way through to the vast sitting room with vaulted ceilings and masses of comfy seating – a great place for everyone to wind down and enjoy quality time. The huge windows are almost floor-to-ceiling and bathe the room in natural light. The kitchen has everything you would need, whether you are preparing a light bite or a three-course banquet. The dining area has a long refectory style table that can seat up to 14 and the comfortable built-in seating on one side is a lovely touch. There are five beautifully decorated double bedrooms with high ceilings, and one has a wide door leading outside. One of the loveliest features of this property is the twin bedroom, with a door leading to a small double with an extra pull-out bed. This makes an ideal setup for parents with younger children, those bringing along a nanny, or the kids to have a mega holiday sleepover. These two rooms also have their own en-suite shower room, plus there is an additional bathroom and a shower room on the ground floor. A wooden staircase leads from the ground floor to an exceptional private floor, housing the master double bedroom and a beautifully presented bathroom.
A long, sheltered porch outside with views towards the farm is a great setting for an al fresco meal the whole group will remember for years to come. The farm location means there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and there is also an enclosed area immediately outside the property. Access to the owner’s heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts make this a home you will find hard to leave. Lazy days whiling away the hours with a book while younger guests enjoy the brilliant facilities is a definite parent bonus.
