The hub of the property is the former gallery space which has been converted into a modern, light and airy combined open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. Retaining some of its original features, this room has windows on two sides as well as two skylights which make for a naturally well-lit space that also affords lovely views over Ambleside and to the fells beyond. From many of the property’s windows, guests can glimpse bird’s eye views of the Lakeland fells. The apartment’s first floor comprises of two bedrooms – one double and one king-size zip-and-link, which can be split into twin beds. There’s also a utility room on this floor in addition to a shower room, and a separate WC. A staircase takes guests up to the second floor of the apartment, where you’ll find that fantastic open-plan living area. There are also the final three bedrooms – one is a king-size zip-and-link for flexible sleeping arrangements, the fourth bedroom is a double, and the fifth bedroom is also a double but has a Velux window letting in yet more natural light. All these rooms have the use of two stylish shower rooms.
While the property itself does not have its own outdoor area, the Lake District National Park is under half a mile away.
